Work / IMS

Branding and website design for Integrated Management Strategies, a government contractor. A July–October 2025 project gave its identity, website and everyday documents a consistent way to present the business.
AT A GLANCE
IMS works in government contracting, where a prospective partner needs to understand a company’s capabilities before taking the conversation further. Its branding and website made that introduction difficult.
At the start of the engagement, the project brief described a dated, poorly functioning website that was not indexed in Google. Broken links interrupted the experience, and the content had not been written around search intent. Away from the website, presentations and proposals had no shared visual language or documented brand rules.
We worked with IMS from July to October 2025. The brief covered the identity and website, along with the templates its team needed for presentations, proposals, case studies and white papers.
The sequence mattered. A new logo needed clear application rules. Those rules then had to carry into the website and the documents people would use after the project ended.
01 / THE STARTING POINT
The supplied old logo and website captures record the starting point. The metallic identity and earlier page layouts are shown here as previous work, so the change can be seen directly.
02 / THE BRAND IDENTITY
The new IMS identity pairs a strong wordmark with a fine arc above it. We documented approved black and white versions, clear space and proportional scaling, so the mark could stay recognisable on a page, a screen or a piece of collateral.
The guidelines also set the typography, colour palette and approach to imagery. Black and white give the identity a consistent base, with blue and violet accents available for supporting material. The original brand-book cover follows the two wordmark versions below.

03 / DOCUMENTS & APPLICATIONS
IMS needed a repeatable way to prepare the material that accompanies a business conversation. We developed templates for presentations and proposals, then carried the same identity into case studies and white papers. Capability statements and supporting collateral were part of that wider document system.
The original template covers below show the layout and brand treatment. Their sample wording is template content, not a claim about completed client research or project results. The application images are original mockups from the supplied guidelines.
04 / THE WEBSITE
The website needed to explain how IMS works and give each capability a useful home. The planning moved through business structure and navigation before the research, writing and design decisions below.
Healthcare, technology, cybersecurity and management consulting needed distinct capability pages. Company information, audiences and contracting vehicles received their own places in the structure.
The menu gives visitors separate routes to the company, its capabilities, the organisations it serves and contract vehicles. Resources and contact destinations stay close to that information.
Search topics were organised around the services IMS offers, rather than repeating a broad government-contracting phrase on every page. Capability pages give the writing a specific subject and purpose.
The planning considered how comparable government contractors explain capabilities and help a prospective partner evaluate them. That review informed the hierarchy, without borrowing another company’s identity.
The new content explains each capability in its own context. Clear headings and descriptive links connect related information, giving visitors a more useful route through the site.
Layouts carry the new identity into the website. The design gives the capability information a clear hierarchy and uses the documented typography and visual direction consistently.
The image selection followed the research and design direction. The supplied IMS library includes stock and conceptual imagery for healthcare, technology and government work. Those images support the capability pages; they are not presented here as an original client photoshoot.
The live IMS capabilities page shows how the structure and identity meet on the screen. The laptop scene below is an illustrative mockup containing an actual webpage capture.
05 / THE OUTCOME
By the end of the engagement, IMS had a new identity, documented brand guidelines, a redesigned website and reusable templates for its business materials. The same visual decisions could carry through a capability page, a presentation or a proposal.
The outcome shown here is the completed work: original identity files, guidelines, template examples and the live website. Search rankings, traffic growth and contract wins are not claimed without the analytics or records to support them.
