School branding, website design and ongoing marketing for an experienced educator’s new venture in Irving, Texas.
Work / Roots Prep School
AT A GLANCE
Lata Nathani had spent 26 years running four schools in Texas when she began Roots Prep School. She brought that experience to a new venture in Irving, with its own name and a new introduction to local families.
Digital Osmos joined the project to create that introduction. Our work covered school branding and website design, then continued into SEO, social media and performance marketing. Website maintenance and design department support remain part of the relationship.
For a parent encountering Roots for the first time, the school’s name had to lead somewhere useful. The identity needed to be recognizable. The website needed to explain the programs and the route to a visit. Social content and advertising had to feel like they came from the same school.
That was the work in front of us: giving Lata’s new venture a consistent public presence, with enough detail for a family to decide whether to take a closer look.
The logo and brand guidelines gave the project a starting point. We carried the identity into the website, where families could explore Roots and book a tour. SEO and social media extended that introduction beyond the homepage.
With the site live, the work continued through published articles, social posts and campaign design. Website upkeep and ongoing design support kept those pieces connected as the school developed.
01 / BRANDING, LOGO & GUIDELINES
The Roots logo gave the new venture a visual identity of its own. We developed a logo system with horizontal, vertical and icon versions, so the mark could work in a website header or a small social profile.
The brand guidelines set out clear space, approved colors and typography. They gave future design work a reference to return to, helping the school keep its presentation consistent as new materials were needed.

02 / WEBSITE DESIGN
Once the identity was in place, the website gave families somewhere to learn about Roots. Program pages explain the age groups, while the curriculum section introduces the school’s Montessori, EYFS and TEKS approach. Tour links make the next step easy to find.
We designed the website and continue to maintain it. The captures below show the live desktop and mobile experience. Explore our enrollment website service.
03 / SEO
A family searching for preschool in Irving may still be comparing programs or working out what to ask on a tour. The SEO work gives Roots pages that address those questions, alongside local information for Valley Ranch and Las Colinas.
The published articles below cover Montessori learning, after-school care and checks to make before choosing a daycare. Each gives a parent something to read before contacting the school. See how we approach local SEO for schools.

04 / SOCIAL MEDIA
The social work uses the Roots identity to talk about the experiences parents care about. The published selection includes kindness in the classroom, aftercare and caring for a plant. The same logo and recognizable colors hold the posts together, even as the subjects change.
These are published pieces from Roots Prep School’s Instagram account. They show how the brand guidelines carry into day-to-day design work.
05 / PERFORMANCE MARKETING & ONGOING SUPPORT
The first website and logo are now part of a working school. Our role continues with website maintenance and design department support, so new information and materials can use the identity already established.
Performance marketing adds paid campaign work alongside social media and SEO. The campaign artwork carries the same Roots identity as the website families reach after an ad. Our paid media service explains the approach.
Lata brought 26 years of school leadership to this venture. Roots now has its own identity, a live website and an ongoing team supporting its marketing as the school develops.
